Welcome to the Oral Health Uganda Dental Outreach Volunteer Program! Join us in our mission to promote oral health and provide essential dental care to underserved communities in Uganda. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals who lack access to proper dental services.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

As a volunteer in our Dental Outreach Program, you will:

1. Assist dental professionals in conducting dental examinations and procedures.
2. Carry out dental procedures as per patients needs in our dental outreaches
3. Educate individuals and communities on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
4. Participate in dental health awareness campaigns and community outreach activities.
5. Help with administrative tasks and logistics during dental outreaches.
6. Support the overall mission and goals of Oral Health Uganda.

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of oral health and hygiene practices.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn and work in a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to different environments and cultural settings.
• No previous dental experience required (though it is a plus).
